K2 X Beta Unit
Beta Unit partnered with K2 Snowboards for the 2010/2011 season to design the graphic for the Darkstar. We used the board graphic as a canvas to transmit our geo-futuristic dreamscapes to. We love snowboarding, and a lot of details in our clothing is inspired by the functionality of outerwear.

Hands For Latin America
HFLA Logo

Hands For Latin America is a nonprofit organization founded by high school student SofĂa Ruiz of
San Diego, California. HFLA's mission is to provide basic humanitarian needs to children in latin american countries including food, water, shelter, clothing and healthcare. Beta Unit designers worked with Sofia to create a line of fashion tees inspired by the HFLA organization. Sales from these tees will help the organization reduce childhood poverty in Latin America.

Over the last few years, we've developed relationships with production factories in Peru. We've seen the first hand the hardships that communities in developing countries have to face. For this reason, Beta Unit will continue to support Hands for Latin America in their mission to help children in Latin American countries.

Deli x Beta Unit

In May of 2010 we teamed up with the Seattle boutique DELI to open a sixty day pop-up shop in the downtown area near the famous Pike Place Market. Called The Butcher Shop, the store retains an industrial feel complete with all the machinery and tools normally found in functioning butcher shops.

To celebrate this partnership, we created a limited edition collaboration jean. Made from
imported Japanese denim, the slim fit jeans featured vintage flannel lined cuffs with a distinct northwestern native american print.
